Submission Guidelines for Artwork Consideration
Thank you for your interest in Tiguere Contemporary Arts and for considering us as a potential representative for your artwork. We are committed to promoting and supporting talented artists, and we appreciate the opportunity to review your work.
To ensure a smooth and efficient review process, we have outlined the following submission guidelines. Please adhere to these instructions carefully to maximize your chances of being considered for representation.
1. Portfolio Preparation:
- Select your best artwork: Choose a diverse range of pieces that showcase your artistic skills, creativity, and unique style.
- Quality is key: Ensure that your artwork is of high resolution and clearly represents the original piece.
- Edit and organize: Present your portfolio in a cohesive and visually appealing manner. Consider arranging your artwork by theme, medium, or chronology.
2. Submission Format:
- Digital submissions only: We accept artwork submissions in digital format only. Please refrain from sending physical copies, as they will not be considered.
- Image specifications: Submit your artwork as individual image files in JPEG or PNG format. Each file should be labeled with the artwork's title, dimensions, and medium (e.g., "Sunset Over the Ocean_24x36_Acrylic").
- Image resolution: Ensure that your images are at least 1500 pixels on the longest side, with a resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch).
3. Artist Statement and Biography:
- Artist statement: Include a brief statement (250-500 words) that provides insight into your artistic process, influences, and the themes or concepts behind your work. This statement should give us a deeper understanding of your artistic intentions.
- Biography: Share a concise biography (150-300 words) highlighting your artistic achievements, exhibitions, education, and any relevant professional experience.
4. Contact Information:
- Full name: Clearly state your full name, as it appears on your official documents.
- Email address: Provide a valid email address that you regularly check, as this will be our primary mode of communication.
- Phone number: Include a phone number where we can reach you, including the appropriate country and area codes.
- Website or portfolio link: If you have a website or an online portfolio, please provide the URL for us to explore your work further.
5. Submission Process:
- Email submission: Send your portfolio, artist statement, biography, and contact information to thetydavisart@gmail.com specified for submissions.
- Subject line: Use a clear and concise subject line, such as "Artwork Submission for Representation Consideration: [Your Name]."
- Attachments: Attach your artwork images individually, ensuring that they meet the specifications mentioned above.
- File size: Optimize your image files to a reasonable size to facilitate smooth email delivery.
- Do not embed images: Please do not embed your images within the email body; attach them as separate files instead.
We appreciate your attention to detail and your commitment to professionalism throughout this submission process. While we strive to review all submissions, please understand that due to the volume of inquiries received, we may not be able to respond personally to each submission.
If we find your artwork aligns with our agency's vision and objectives, we will reach out to you regarding potential representation. We kindly request that you refrain from follow-up inquiries regarding the status of your submission.
Thank you for considering us as your potential representative. We look forward to reviewing your artwork and potentially collaborating with you in the future.
